One Voice Childrens Choir
Many children from the choir experienced an adventure of a life time. For many it was the first time to fly in an airplane and to spend an entire week in such a big city. Some of the highlights were seeing Broadway Shows, riding the Subway, viewing the Statue of Liberty, walking through Central Park, reflecting at Ground Zero, walking in the rain and singing at Times Square. But those experiences were topped by performing on the historic stage at Radio City Music Hall. Almost all days were spent rehearsing for that amazing moment. They rehearsed in the Rockettes’ practice hall and at a New York pier. They met the other contests and developed great friendships. The night that they stood on the stage they looked so beautiful all dressed in their new wardrobes provided by America’s Got Talent. Sure enough there were many nervous kids and butterflies in their stomachs but they sang so angelically. The audience loved them and were on their feet as they sang. It was such a thrilling moment to see the audience response. After the show a few kids participated in the behind scene parties and events. The kids were in their element of just having fun. We were grateful for the amazing support that we received from our fans. We know that many of you voted for us. We had an amazing experience and we were grateful to be a part of the Quarter Finals on America’s Got Talent Season 9.
